Silverwood Lake rests at 3,380 feet in the San Bernardino mountains, surrounded by 2,400 acres of ancient Douglas Firs and Black Oak trees with sweeping views of mountain creeks. Formed by the 249-foot Cedar Springs Dam, it holds the distinction of being California’s highest State Water Project reservoir β a true wilderness destination just off Highway 138.
Operated by Advenco LLC under a special use permit from California State Parks, the lake and its facilities are open year-round, seven days a week.
